One of the many things that those who follow the bogus Universal House of Justice seem to ignore is the element of time. History shows us that issues of great importance often take a long period of time to be finally resolved. Essentially, humans in their time-saving efforts cause many false starts and failed attempts before the requisite results are obtained. It would seem that in Religious matters particularly time is a non-issue, at least within human understanding. Again and again, those who claim to be following God’s Plan are thwarted in actually accomplishing the goals specified by God, although they are quite busy in performing daily tasks and activities. No matter how many attempts, if the Will of God is not included, failure will occur.
We are instructed in various Writings that the element of time does not exist in the next world, rather progress is obtained through the completion of events only. When you consider that the events leading to the Baha'i Faith happened over a period of several thousand years, why would the application within the human time structure be suddenly compressed to allow the will of humans? Why does the bogus UHJ think that their present administrative order, structured quickly, ignoring the elements of the Will and Testament of ‘Abdu‘l-Baha, is the one that will lead to the promised Kingdom of God? Since a pathway of several thousands of years of history led to the Will and Testament and its requirements, how could any continuing path be constructed of anything less than the Commands of that Will and Testament?
The attitude of those following the bogus UHJ is that their current administrative structure is of God, and will bring His Kingdom to fruition. My response to that on Talk Religion Baha’i is ”…this thing ain’t over yet.” Simply because their administrative structure was composed in a few short moments, lacking the required elements, how can it possibly endure? For “…whatever God hath willed hath been, and whatever God hath not willed shall not be.“ Even though their version of the UHJ promotes the beautiful spiritual Teachings of the Faith, it lacks its necessary twin, the prescribed administrative elements contained in ‘Abdu’l-Baha’s Will and Testament.
Since humans have never before been given the opportunity to follow a Plan that is so heavily documented to the Will of God, how can they expect to attain the Promised Land without specifically following that Plan? The Plan itself began in the Mind of God thousands of years ago. We have been told for many of those thousands of years that the Plan will lead to the Kingdom of God on Earth. It is ludicrous for humans to expect that a plan not following God’s architecture will attain the promised results. God does not change His Plan just to satisfy our human tendency to compress time or overlook Divine accomplishment in our eagerness to grasp for some sort of finality. Shortcuts not allowed.
The detractors of the Plan say that God changed His Mind. They say that since (fill in the blanks with whatever the excuse of the day is) happened, that it was impossible to follow the explicit instructions of the Will and Testament. Really? They are saying that God in His Wisdom could not provide the conditions allowing for that Plan to be followed? Did they not consider that it was their perception of the matter that needed to be changed?
Just because humans don’t immediately see the avenue, does not mean that the avenue is not there. God is always testing his servants, and when one test ends, another rears its head. As in school, preparation for a test is accomplished by studying the prescribed material. The material for this particular test is contained in Shoghi Effendi’s instructions in his book "Messages to the Baha'i World 1950-1957." Upon understanding those instructions, the pathway beyond 1957 becomes quite clear.
The Hands in the Holy Land became self-interpreters after the First Guardian’s death, developed a plan of their liking, and brainwashed the majority of the believers who now expect it to lead to the Promised Kingdom. Was it never considered that perhaps an attempt should have been made to conform to his instructions rather than to immediately declare that it was impossible for him to have appointed the Second Guardian?
When one looks objectively at the conditions of rampant poverty, war, destruction and total chaos in today's world versus the promises of God's Plan as described in the Writings of all the Manifestations, with its theme of continuation through the Baha’i Faith, how could the peaceful promises be realized without the full cooperation of that God? God’s cooperation will only happen within the following of 'Abdu’l-Baha’s definition of the Covenant, and the explicit directions of Shoghi Effendi.
In the meantime, the UHJ's humanly-conceived plan continues with the only realistic outcome to be that of frustration and non-accomplishment of salvation for the world. God has plenty of time. He will continue to love His Creation as He always has, with all the patience in the (human) world to allow these humanly inspired and ruinous Wars and other maladies to happen. His Holy thread continues through the lineage of living Guardians centered on 'Abdu'l-Baha's Will and Testament.
Humans may follow either God's Way or the highway of human suffering. Since time is a non-issue with God, He will remain, seemingly in the background to most, as long as it takes until the masses of humanity accept the Path that continues to hold to His Thread, the direct line through Shoghi Effendi's ministry, then continuing according to the instructions that He provides, through the living Guardianships of Mason Remey, Joel B. Marangella, and countless successors to come.
Only by the following of God’s specific Will can humans release the shackles of the human tendency to define task accomplishment within the time frame of this life, rather than using God’s time frame of Heavenly accomplishment for the standard of success.
