Luke 7:28: "I tell you, Among those born of women there is none greater than John; but a lesser one in the Kingdom of God is greater than he is."
John the Immerser, the one concerning whom the Lord Christ spoke those words, was a minor prophet, like Samuel, not a Holy Manifestation of God, and Samuel was not greater than John.
Shoghi Effendi was an infallible Guardian of the Bahá'í Faith, who established the embryonic Administration of the Kingdom of God on Earth, establishing its primary embryonic administrative Institutions including the embryonic Universal House of Justice and the Institution of the Hands of the Cause of God.
Can we not say therefore, that Shoghi Effendi, whose ministry of 36 years clearly signified the beginning of the appearance of the Kingdom of God on Earth as an administration was one of those of whom the Lord Christ was speaking when He said: "..a lesser one in the Kingdom of God is greater than he is."
Shoghi Effendi's ministry was part of the fulfillment of the prophecies of earlier prophets, and is not the fulfillment more important and greater than the prophecy in the same manner that the reality is greater than the shadow of the reality? Which is greater, a tree, or its shadow?
Now let's look at one of those minor prophets of whom Shoghi Effendi was greater:
The Holy Scripture says of Samuel, one of those minor prophets, a seer:
Samuel 3: 19,20: And Samuel continued growing up, and Jehovah Himself proved to be with him and did not cause any of all his words to fall to the earth. And all Israel from Dan to Beersheba became aware that Samuel was the one accredited for the position of prophet to Jehovah."
"Jehovah Himself proved to be with him and did not cause any of all his words to fall to the earth."
If none of Samuel's words as a spokesman of God fell to the earth, does that not mean that his ministry as a seer of God was infallible?
Not any "any of all his words" fell to the earth.
Surely that is the very definition of a great messenger of God, and yet Shoghi Effendi, the infallible first of our Bahá'í Guardians must be classified as greater than Samuel.
And yet what do we see in the sans-Guardian, Heterodox Bahá'í organization? We observe Shoghi Effendi's words (teachings) falling to the earth, one after another after another after another, again and again and again and again. In such case, if his words were in reality failing thus, how could Shoghi Effendi be considered greater than either John the immerser or Samuel, none of whose sayings fell to the earth?
Look at this:
In his spiritual testament, The Dispensation of Bahá'u'lláh, Shoghi Effendi, infallibly and in considerable detail, identified the two sacred Institutions, the Guardianship of the Bahá'í Faith and the Universal House of Justice, to be the "twin pillars" of the Administration of the New World Order of Bahá'u'lláh.
In the current sans-Guardian administration of Haifa/Wilmette those words of Shoghi Effendi have fallen to the earth. That Heterodox Bahá'í organization has no "twin pillars".
In his spiritual testament, The Dispensation of Bahá'u'lláh, Shoghi Effendi, infallibly taught that the Guardians of the Bahá'í Faith would be voting as living members of legitimate Universal House of Justice bodies, stating concerning such Guardians: "He cannot override
the decision of the majority of his fellow members..."
In the current sans-Guardian administration of Haifa/Wilmette those words of Shoghi Effendi have fallen to the earth. That Heterodox Bahá'í organization has no Guardian voting as a living member of their body.
Shoghi Effendi officially taught in a letter:
"He feels that if ......ponders more deeply about the fundamentals of Divine Revelation, she will also come to understand the Guardianship. Once the mind and heart have grasped the fact that God guides men through a Mouthpiece, a human being, a Prophet, infallible and unerring, it is only a logical projection of this acceptance to also accept the station of 'Abdu'l-Baha' and the Guardians. The Guardians are the evidence of the maturity of mankind in the sense that at long last men have progressed to the point of having one world, and of needing one world management for human affairs. In the
spiritual realm they have also reached the point where God could leave in human hands (ie. the Guardians') guided directly by the Bab and Baha'u'llah, as the Master states in His Will, the affairs of His Faith for this Dispensation. This is what is meant by "this is the day
which will not be followed by night." In this Dispensation, divine guidance flows on to us in this world after the Prophet's ascension through , first the Master, and then the Guardians. If a person can accept Baha'u'llah's function, it should not present any difficulty to them to also accept what He has ordained in a divinely guided individual in matters pertaining to the Faith."
In the current sans-Guardian administration of Haifa/Wilmette those words of Shoghi Effendi have fallen to the earth. That Heterodox Bahá'í organization does not have in its ranks one of those living Guardians whom Shoghi Effendi infallibly taught would be the channels through whom "divine guidance flows on to us in this world."
In The Dispensation of Baha'u'llah, Shoghi Effendi records this statement: "As I have already stated, in the course of my references to 'Abdu'l-Baha's station, however great the gulf that separates Him from the Author of a Divine Revelation it can never measure with the distance that stands between Him Who is the Center of Baha'u'llah's Covenant and the Guardians who are its chosen ministers."
In the current sans-Guardian administration of Haifa/Wilmette those words of Shoghi Effendi have fallen to the earth. That Heterodox Bahá'í organization, since 1957, does not have, has never had and never will have any "...Guardians who are its chosen ministers."
Shoghi Effendi wrote concerning the statement above:
"To the integrity of this cardinal principle of our Faith the words, the deeds of its present and future Guardians must abundantly testify. By their conduct and example they must needs establish its truth upon an unassailable foundation and transmit to future
generations unimpeachable evidences of its reality."
In the current sans-Guardian administration of Haifa/Wilmette those words of Shoghi Effendi have fallen to the earth. That Heterodox Bahá'í organization will never have "future Guardians" concerning whom Shoghi Effendi infallibly taught.
In the Dispensation of Baha'u'llah the first of our Guardians, Shoghi Effendi, instructs us that the institution of the Guardianship provides the Bahá'í Faith: "...the necessary guidance to define the sphere of the legislative action of its elected representatives..."
In the current sans-Guardian administration of Haifa/Wilmette those words of Shoghi Effendi have fallen to the earth. That Heterodox Bahá'í organization has no living Guardian to provide "...the necessary guidance to define the sphere of the legislative action of its elected representatives..."
In the Dispensation of Baha'u'llah, Shoghi Effendi explains the capacity of the Guardian of the Baha'i Faith as a member of the Universal House of Justice, and concerning the legislation by that body, comprised of himself and his fellow-members, he writes with
respect to the Guardian: "He...is bound to insist upon a reconsideration by them of any enactment he conscientiously believes to conflict with the meaning and to depart from the spirit of Baha'u'llah's revealed utterances."
In the current sans-Guardian administration of Haifa/Wilmette those words of Shoghi Effendi have fallen to the earth. That Heterodox Bahá'í organization has no living Guardian to "...insist upon a reconsideration by them of any enactment he conscientiously believes to conflict with the meaning and to depart from the spirit of Baha'u'llah's revealed utterances."
Those many words and many, many other officially written words of the first of our infallible Bahá'í Guardians, Shoghi Effendi, have fallen to the earth, unfulfilled, in the current sans-Guardian, Heterodox Bahá'í administration of Haifa/Wilmette.
How can they claim that he is greater than Samuel or John the Immerser or the other minor Hebrew prophets? Even Samuel's word's never fell to the earth. Never. In the sans-Guardian administration of Haifa/Willmete, that administration paints a picture of Shoghi Effendi as an impotent, failing, weak 'chosen minister' of the Covenant of Bahá'u'lláh, a minister suffering the chagrin that most of his official words fell to the earth unfulfilled and meaningless.
To paint such a picture of Shoghi Effendi, our infallible first Guardian who penned only matchless, magnificent infallible teachings is a shameless betrayal of him, the essence of disloyalty to him, and that betrayal will eternally remain the infamous legacy of the current bogus sans-Guardian Bahá'í administration on Mt. Carmel and in Wilmette.
